Christina Linton Art
About

Hi, I'm Christina, I have a crazy passion for all things Disney and aspire towards their work. The inspiration from my artwork comes from my love of nature and wildlife. I love to be able to raise awareness for all wildlife through my drawings and paintings and I enjoy giving back to conservation efforts through the profits I receive from the sales of my products.
I am a 2022 graduate from the Arts University Bournemouth in Animation Production, where I was able to pursue my passion for animation fuelled by my love for Disney. I learnt many valuable skills and discovered many paths of animation that I loved. I now focus on 2D effects animation and some character animation.
I also have a passion for illustration and telling stories through my artwork. I am fortunate to have worked with various projects which has allowed me to express my artwork in many ways, from animation to illustration.
I am very passionate about conservation work and raising awareness for our amazing wildlife. I have been very fortunate to have worked with some charities and been able to give back to conservation efforts.
Throughout my life I have enjoyed the natural beauty of the world we live in and I have always been heartbroken by the detrimental effects humans have on our planet. I have always loved the ocean and visiting beaches for as long as I can remember. As I have grown older I have noticed more waste and plastics on our beaches and I always try to collect as much as possible to dispose of properly instead of it floating into our beautiful oceans and destroying marine life.
In 2023 I was very fortunate and proud to begin supporting the Sea Life Trust through the sales of my ocean themed colouring book. This was a huge ambition of mine and I really enjoyed creating artwork that both children enjoyed and contributed towards ocean conservation efforts.

I have always loved dance and gymnastics, I started dance at 3 and gymnastics at the age of 8; and at 13 I started trampoline gymnastics where I continued my love for the sport. Since being a part of the sport I have always loved finding and getting new sparkly leotards, I used to be known for the many leotards I used to own and would always be the one to give leotard advice to the other girls.

By 16 I had become a qualified trampoline coach and I have continued to pursue this path, now becoming the Head Coach at my trampoline club. Since managing the club I have been looking to update the competition leotards and I have found that all of the bespoke leotards are extremely expensive and I really wanted to make sparkly leotards available for everyone. During this time I was also trying to find bespoke boys leotards for only a few pieces which was nearly impossible which meant I resorted in sewing these myself.

This lead me down the path of researching manufacturers, getting a brand new whizzy sewing machine and now starting my own leotard company. With the hope to build a brand that is affordable for all and includes high quality leotards for both boys and girls.
